$2,500 Top Award The Pomona Heritage Historic Restoration Grants program is available to any citizen of the city of Pomona for any project on a single family home built prior to 1955. There will be an awarding of $5,000 for projects which help to restore historic elements to historic properties. A top award of $2,500 will be given with additional awards based on project costs with the total up to $5,000. Projects may include, but are not limited to:

The program gives priority to work that includes exterior projects which enhance the structure's "curb appeal" and provides or restores historic authenticity. Awards will be up to 1/2 of the cost of the project. Applicant's personal time and expenses will be included in calculations determining total cost of project.
The completed Entry Form must be received by August 31. The work must be completed this year before October 31st. Eligibility is limited to the owners of single family homes within the city of Pomona, and built prior to 1955. Previous award winners and board members of Pomona Heritage are ineligible.
